Under the project “Capacity building of climate change to social organization”, the Centre for Sustainable Rural Development (SRD), Thanh Giong knowledge portal cooperating with VOV News organized the online Forum “Vietnam responds to climate change” from 4 to 5 P.M on July 14th 2010. 
The purpose of the forum is to respond to national as well as international activities for climate change. Through the forum, people and organizations can exchange information or skills relating to environment protection. Also they can discuss about impacts of climate change to Vietnam as well as responses and actions from the government and social organizations.
Participants in the forum include Dr Vu Van Trieu (Advisor of SRD); Mr. Vu Xuan Viet (Project director of Oxfam UK); Ms Ho Thi Yen Thu (Deputy Director of MCD); Mr Truong Duc Tri (member of Vietnam Youth Union as well as union secretary of MONRE and secretary of National Target Program to climate change); Dr. Hoang Duc Cuong (Deputy director of meteorology and climate research centre) and Mr Hoang Manh Hoa (manager of climate change office of meteorology and climate change bureau).
