On December 5, 2011, a feedback workshop was held for the the "Capacity Building on Climate Change for Civil Society Organizations" project, funded by the Embassy of Finland. This workshop was an opportuntiy to received comments and feedback from stakeholders, for consideration and sumbission in the final evaluation report. Participants in the workshop included the Project Steering Committee, the Training of Trainers nationwide, the consultants who provided training services and curriculum development for the projects, and a number of randomly selected beneficiaries who participated in the project's training courses. . The project final evaluation report is being undertaken by a group of independent consultants from Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations (VUSTA) and the South East Asia Research Institute. At the workshop, the consultants presented the first draft report to related stakeholders, that had been developed using qualitative and quantitative analysis. In the draft report, the consultants offered positive feedback on the efforts of the project's officers and the project's results after two and half a years of project implementation. All participants also agreed on the consultants's positive evaluation of the project. Professor Truong Quang Hoc who was employed to compile some of the project's publications highly appeciated the project and remarked, "I have attended in the role of an independent consultant for many of the activities of this project. In my humble opinion, this is one of the best projects that I have ever cooperated with. Although there are only three project officers in charge of a big project, remarkable results have been attained."

Some participants shared case studies about how they applied the knowledge gained during the project acitivities to supporting local community in climate change related activities. Participants' sharing helped the consultants gain a more objective and comprehensive understanding before finalizing the evaluation report.
