On 19 - 20 April, the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations (VUSTA) organized a training workshop on "Guidelines for the receipt, use and management of non-refundable foreign aid for VUSTA's scientific affiliates" through a Process and Procedure Manual written by VUSTA and other experts. The purpose of the Manual is to assist VUSTA's affiliates in identifying and complying with applicable taxes, procedures toward foreign aid.
Mrs. Nguyen Kim Ngan, SRD's Executive Director was a member of the expert team that give instructions and advice for the tax policy of foreign non-governmental aid projects at the workshop.
