On 24, March 2023, in Hanoi, the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations (VUSTA) celebrated the 60th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's meeting with intellectuals and the 40th anniversary of the establishment of VUSTA

Attending the ceremony were representatives of Vietnamese scientists and intellectuals at home and abroad. In particular,  the anniversary ceremony was attended by the Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong and many leaders of the Party, State, Government, National Assembly, and Vietnam Fatherland Front. Ms. Vu Thi Bich Hop, Chairwoman of the Board of Trustees cum Executive Director of Center for Sustainable Rural Development (SRD); and Mr. Nguyen Phu Hung, Deputy Director of SRD, attended the ceremony.

At the ceremony, SRD was honored to receive the Certificate of Merit from the Prime Minister for outstanding achievements in work from 2017 to 2021, contributing to the cause of building socialism and defending the Fatherland.
