Việt Nam đồng thời ký Hiệp định EVFTA và Hiệp định VPA/FLEGT - hai Hiệp định với EU đều có liên quan trực tiếp hoặc gián tiếp đến ngành lâm nghiệp. Sau khi Hiệp định có hiệu lực, việc thực thi Hiệp định đến đâu ở mức độ nào, công tác chuẩn bị cho thực thi ra sao vấn đề này cần được theo dõi và cập nhật thường xuyên. Báo cáo “Cập nhật việc xem xét các vấn đề liên quan đến quản trị rừng và các biện pháp chống buôn bán gỗ bất hợp pháp, thực thi VPA cũng như các chỉ số quan trọng của các Nhóm tư vấn trong nước (DAGs) của EVFTA từ góc độ CSO” là Báo cáo đầu tiên. Đây sẽ là nền tảng cho việc theo dõi thực hiện hai Hiệp Định này vào những năm tiếp theo.

     Vietnam has signed EVFTA Agreement and VPA/FLEGT Agreement - two EU's agreements which both related to the forestry sector. After the Agreement has entered into force, to what extent the implementation of the Agreement and how the preparation for the implementation of this issue is processed should be monitored and regularly updated. Report "Updating the review of issues relating to forest governance and measures against illegal timber trade, VPA implementation" is the leading research. This will be the foundation for monitoring the implementation of these two Agreements in the coming years.
