On September 8, 2022, at the France Volontair Office in Hanoi (FV Hanoi), a meeting and exchange between French Volunteers and representatives of FV Hanoi, and leaders of SRD was gatherred. Attended the meeting, including:
- FV Hanoi office, represented by Ms. Nguyen, Thi Phuong Lan
- Centre for Sustainable Rural Development (SRD) including Ms. Vu, Thi Bich Hop, Director and Chairman of the Board of Trustee, Ms. Nguyen, Thi Kim Ngan Deputy Director and Mr. Nguyen Phu Hung Deputy Director, Mr. Ho Manh Environmental Advisor.
- FV volunteers: Ms. Mussoni Giulia (Italy), Mr. Lyasse Abderrahmane (Belgium) and Mr. Baldassarre Giuseppe (Italy).
At the meeting, SRD volunteers as well as staff were introduced by FV representatives in Hanoi to the formation process, principles, goals and ongoing forest project globally and in Vietnam. SRD's representative briefly introduced about SRD, results of the FV Volunteers achieved so far and plan to carry out activities in the coming time, as well as committed providing logistical and administrative support to volunteers.
The volunteers shared their good impressions when they came to work in Vietnam in general and at SRD in particular and wished to bring their talents and strengths to support SRD.
