On 27th June, 2018, the "Conference on promotion of foreign non-governmental organizations assistance to Thanh Hoa province in 2018" co-hosted by the People's Committee of Thanh Hoa Province and the Vietnam Union of Friendship organizations attracted the participation of the representatives of the Thanh Hoa Department of Foreign Affairs, the provincial Women Union's and other relevant agencies, as well as representatives from local and international non-governmental organizations. At the conference, Ms. Nguyen Kim Ngan, SRD's Executive Director had the opportunity to openly share about the "Towards a sustainable livelihood of the poor single women - headed household by applying climate smart agriculture approach in Tinh Gia District, Thanh Hoa Province" project results, achievements along with the challenges that SRD faced during the implementation process and expressed her wish on further support and cooperation from Thanh Hoa PPC. At the end of the conference, Ms. Ngan, on behalf of SRD, and Mrs. Le Thi Thin, Vice Chairwoman of Thanh Hoa People's Committee signed the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the aim of establishing a stronger and more effective cooperation in the future.
