SRD’s Emerging Leaders Program

In the meeting of the SRD's Board of Trustees (BOT) dated on March 17, 2016, Mr. Donn Berghofer – an expert in organizational development – supported the review of the Strategic Plan for the period 2013 – 2017, and the SRD's succession plan. He, at the SRD's 10th anniversary, also made a presentation about its organizational development orientation for the coming years.
Based on Mr. Berghofer's analyses and consultation and the approval of the BOT, SRD organized one meeting for all staff, to discuss openly about the Emerging Leaders Program on May 10, 2016. This meeting is one part of SRD's succession plan.

The program encourages young, talented and highly committed staff within SRD to apply for twelve-month coaching course. The qualified candidates will be coached directly by SRD's current leaders. After coaching, these candidates expected to become emerging leaders of SRD.

This will help to develop the staff's competence as well as ensure SRD's sustainable development in the future, appropriating to the context of Vietnam's socio-economic development and international integration.
