“Too rewarding, too practical! I have been able to listen to and talk about the Law concerning People with Disabilities and I feel much more informed. By participating in the sharing, I was able to learn, but when I go home, I will read additionally documents to understand even more. “I like to take part in activities organized for my community by the project. People said, ‘Travel broadens the mind’, so once there was an activity of the project, I rearranged my work so I could spend time participating. Although the PwD in my family are not very serious, I joined not only to help my family, but also to share with my neighbors and members of my club. I learned that people with disabilities have their own rights, obligations and specific laws. ”- Ms. N.T.T - a member of the Gio An Commune Disability Club said.

The “Sharing about Vietnamese Disability Law” activity was organized by the Center for Sustainable Rural Development (SRD) with the participation of 35 members of nine PwDs clubs in Dong Ha city, Quang Tri province on January 17th, 2020. This activity is within the project "Empowering people with disabilities," funded by Caritas Australia and DFAT in Gio Linh district, Quang Tri province.
